Bill,
You do what they call "pinch off" the ends. Look at the end and
squeeze/pinch off the vine right at the end. It will only be 1/2 to 1
inch worth that you take off. The vine will probably still grow or what I
call stretch out another 1 to 2 feet before it stops. Knowing this you
can start pinching off earlier as you get the hang of it!
