I have another question for those who are kind enough to assist. This
being my first year attempting a giant and all. My main vine is about 12'
long and has on it 4 female flowers, one of which I pollinated and seems to
be taking. I also have 4 secondary vines bearing no less than 4 females
each, and every day brings more.
Should I be terminating any of these or just pollinate everything I can for
a couple of weeks ? Also a question on fertilizer, Someone stated 1-2
pounds of water soluable fertilizer per plant per week. Should this be
applied daily ie: 1/3 lb per plant per day, or bi-weekly etc. ? And what is
the prefered method of application, hose attached sprayer, watering can,
etc. ?
