AnnaMarie:
Big Moon is C. maxima and it sounds like it did the trick for you. The
fruit it helps make this year will reflect the genes of Atlantic Giant.
This will not negatively affect your chances for a big one this year. The
seed from this season's pumpkin will be a hybrid and produce a fruit next
year which expresses the genes of both AG and Big Moon.
