Dear fellow pumpkin growers,
In central Pa. We have a good drought going on right now. I have
been watering
everyday( outlaw on water restrictions) at night. Anyhow with out a good
soaking rain of any sort in almost a month things are dring up fast.
Would this affect blossoms? Male ones
in particular. I have been waiting for my first male to open but they
dry up. The females have been opening but to no avail because they're is
nothing to pollinate with. The plant looks real well considering the
conditions. What all veggies will pollinate
these females to get things started to save a little of my dwindling
season.
