Re: Help! Phone company wants to destroy plants.

Nikki,

In most instances the phone company must pay for any damages to
agricultural crops (on agricultural land or property), if they disturb
crops and or property for equipment repair purposes.

If you are growing your pumpkins on residential property the laws may
differ and various states may have varying regulations, I would certainly
inquire.

You have a first place pumpkin in my eyes, at least until weigh off day!

What is the value of your first place pumpkin, perhaps if you suggest to
the phone company it is worth several thousand dollars and you intend to
collect for damages to your plants, they may just back off until the end of
growing season!

Gotta love your phone company!
