Hi,
This is my first time to grow pumpkins of any kind. I am growing AG's,
regular jackolantern Howdens and JackBLil's. My problem, I think, is
that I live in Texas and it's been 100 degrees F for the past week. I
water a lot, but it doesn't seem to make that much of a difference. I
am scared that while the leaves look all wilty (they are okay in the
evening and early morning) they aren't going to be growing well.
Sometimes, recently, I go ahead and water when they look wilty even if
the "hills" still seem dampish... am I going to kill them? They don't
seem to be growing that fast since I transplanted them from containers.
You guys are all so knowledgable about this stuff... please HELP! I am
really excited about them and I am dying for them to do well. I have
heard that noone grows pumpkins is Texas... but that seems so unfair.
Surely it's not impossible?
Thanks for any advice!!!!
