                I measured my largest pumpkin today. It is (was) 26
inches from the base of the stem to the blossom. Is there a weigh
tcalculation from this? I thought I saw one about 2 months ago here,but
didn't pay too much attention.I just wanted  to have some rael leaves on
my plant at that point.

                 Is there a standard measuring system : arounrd the
equator,north to south, or stem to blossom?            

         I did find one method of measuring growth. I put a picnic bench
over the pumpkin for shade. I had to move the bench now that the pumpkin
has reached the bench. I better call the America Institute
of Weights & Measurements. They may be interested.
