Hello Everyone,
                         Today I finally hit the 100" mark at 26 days,
ovt estimated weight 285#. Daily growth is up to about 30# per day.  I
was wondering if it should be having this kind of daily growth this
early?  Last year Norm Craven sent the group some information on his
christmas tree method of pinching vines. He stated that you should be up
to 300# by day 30, and after day 30 is the peak period where you should
gain 25 to 30 lbs. per day for hopefully the next 14 days. Is it
possible to get that kind of growth for a longer period of time or is my
pumpkin's peek growth period running earlier?  I haven't added any
fertilizer for at least 2 wks.
