I read somewhere that the Zehrs use a fertilizer that has 60 different
ingredients in it, all the trace elements. SDoes anyone know of anything
meeting these requirements? Some of the mixtures used for water lillies have
quite a few ingredients. Also for individuals looking for fertilizers high in
Potassium, try Schultz's Tomato plus Plant Food which is probably available
in most locations and is
18-19-30.
Also I know that the Zehrs plant annual rye in their garden immediately after
their pumpkins are harvested. I have been told that they apply a thin layer
of cow manure to their entire garden in the early spring.
