31 - July - 1997 I apologize for not replying sooner to your question, but I was looking for some information about the subject. So, I have known that the largest pumpkin weigth in Italy has been of 345 Kilograms (about 760 pounds) and I'm also able to give you the address of the man who had grown that phenomenon. He's the most important pumpkins farmer in Italy, and someone says he owns five hundred (500) different seed kinds ... will be that so ? Here is his address to verify : Mr. Alessandro MENZIO Via Pontevecchio ,1 10020 ANDEZZENO (TORINO) ITALY Tel.: +11 9434458 You can keep in contact with him by phone or by mail (I think he hasn't an "E-MAIL" address,... but you can check it by writing him). I would be pleased to meet your news again. Regards : Massimo TOSI
