Zoo, take it from an old vine borer slayer from way back, try the flyswatter!
I keep one in the patch at all times.
I killed 8 borers last year, and 5 so far this year.
If that doesn't work, Chris Andersen has one mean flygun that shoots
rubberbands at them.:)
