seedlings

Dear Friends, I have 8 seedlings  that I sprouted 3 weeks ago.  I
sprouted them in a wet paper towel and zip lock bag.  Then I put them in
peat pots and planted them in the garden  a week later.  Three of the
plants seem to be doing ok, they are about 8 inches tall.  When the
other plants came out of the potting soil the seed leaves kinda of
curled up and they are not growing. The seeds that are not growing are
out of 2 different pumpkins and the 3 that are doing ok are out of 3
other pumpkins. Could anyone please tell me what might of happened.
