I agree with you. I don't think the GPC has to be all things to all people.
I like the idea of an organization that provides some common prize money, some
basic rules and doesn't mettle in the affairs of individual sites. Let
everyone run their own show the way they see fit and just have some basic ,
common rules. Compare weights. Keep records. I don't need much more than that.
The GPC need not be BIG BROTHER. I'm not saying the GPC is perfect....but I
like it. As far as the Howard Dill thing, Howard wanted Sarnia kicked out for
turning in their weights late. The GPC had a vote , including Danny Dill, and
the vote was that the offense was not serious enough to kick out Sarnia.
Howard didn't like the results of the vote and left. I wouldn't read much more
into it.
