Pumpkinguy,
I have twin vines from the same plant running parallel through my garden.
Each has produced a female flower at the 16 to 18 foot section. This Brock
591 was put in the ground on May 25th. Shouldn't I wait until July 25th to
consider pollination?
Because the vine flattened and split in the 1st week I germinated an Anderson
977 and put it in the ground on July 4th. Yes, it took me a month to
successfully germinate my 1st AG and it was an Anderson 977. I failed with an
815 and my other 977. I am thinking about using pollen from the Anderson 977
with the Brock's female flower. If I pollinate an Anderson 977, I will do so
in the 1st week of September. The weather in Richmond begins to cool in
September. I have never been so anxious for the summer to end.
