In my slow to grow patch I have a Zehr 1061who's longest main is a mere 2
feet long. However, this main has a developing female near the end. I have
never seen a female this close in and am wondering how unusual this really
may be. I think I remember someone last year commenting on another early,
close in lady but, as I recall, the consensus was that it was probably a
misidentified male. This flower is clearly a female.
While it would seem pointless to try and set a pumpkin this close in it does
make me wonder if anyone knows if the Zehr 1061 has any record of being a
higher than average producer of females.
