I don't think this is silly. I have just two plants. I have yet to see
more than two male blossoms on any one day, total. If two females open
on the same day, and I just have two males, is that enough? Or heaven
forbid, just one male???? Do I have to call Zoo at 7:00 a.m. (poor
Mary!) and see if he's got blossoms to spare?
I hope "textbook" blossoms start happening so that I have lots of males
for every female, but not everything as been "textbook" so far, and I
need to be prepared for whatever comes along.
