Pat,
It is tough to pollinate down South...above 90 spells trouble. I would try
to pollinate anything that comes along that looks good. If you have a spell
that falls below 90 and it is a little earlier than you would like, I would
still go for it if it looks good. You can always cut it off, if you get a good
late bloomer. If you snap off prospective females now, and then you have a
heat wave in late July and August, it might be tough to set one later.
