Re: Milk feeding

my wife was watching "regis and kathy lee" a few years ago in the fall,
there was a guy on the show with a really big pumpkin. she called
me in to see it. while i was watching, they asked him what his secret
was to growing them so big. he said that he "fed it milk through a slit
in the vine next right next to the pumpkin" -  ???

maybe this is another source of where the milking idea came from. 
this guy was just throwing us all for a loop by providing bad
information on national TV.... or maybe NOT ! ? !! ?? -  

(who knows how many people we could get to try it or some other totally
weird things, with a couple of disinformation postings !!!???... just
kidding.)
