Re: What is my pumpkin doing?

Oh, so it's SUPPOSED to lean. Heh heh. As I'm sure you can tell I'm a totol
beginner at this. I'm growing it on my patio, but actually, I set the pumkin
containers out in the grass in front of my patio. There is a 5 foot tall
wooden enclosure to my patio which blocks out too much sun. I have my
pumpkins in the grass because the get about 8 hours more sunlight that way,
and also the water will drain better when sitting on the grass rather than on
the uniformly flat, concret patio. At night I move them into the patio area to
keep the local cats and such away from them. The only things that seem
interested in them at the moment is my 6 year old son and some wasps. No bees
to speak of in this area so it looks like I'll be hand pollinating, which I
dont mind since I've reading through the archives and have gotten tons of info
on how to do that thanks to all of you. Thanks again very much.
