This is for one inch of water over a certain square foot.
231 in cube = 1 gallon
1000 sqft= 100x10
Change to inches
(100x12)x(10x12)x(height (1") ) =
1200x120x1=144000
144000 / 231 = 623
equals= 623 gallons
100sqft = 10x10
120x120x1= 62 gallons
