I know, I was just wondering if anyone else that was growing one had the
oppsosite, and was having good luck with it. I am still trying to germinate my
last 1006x941 seed in the paper towell in a baggie next to a heater. (about
75-80 degrees or so). SO far no germination on this seed either, (the first
two rotted in the hill and popped like zits when I dug them up and suqeezed
them a week later), Well, hold on let me go check....
Nope, the seed still has not showed any signs of germination. Sheesh. I HATE
IT WHEN THIS HAPPENS. This is the 3rd day it has been moisturizing in the
paper towel. If this seed doesn't work, I'll have to resort to another backup
one I have I guess. I really wanted to grow the 1006x941 though. Something
about growing a seed derived form the 2nd heaviest pumpkin ever grown in the
world (and the 2nd heaviest grown last year) that would just be cool. I wonder
why these seeds are rotting?! It isn't like they are too cool or anything, the
temp outside for the first two was in the upper 80's at least.

Well, as you probably know, the first Hester got eaten by a
gopher/woodchuck/rabbit, and I am still waiting for the replacement seed from
Brett Hester, because the package got damaged in postal service and they sent
it back to him! So he repackaged and is sending it again. So hopefully I will
get it in the next day or so.
The only hill of AG's that I have growing now is the hill of the Cramer and
Wallace. I have to post an update on those since stuff has changed and I am
going to need some advice! I'll post that next....
