Those Allardt Boys are at it again trying to be the first to win the
coveted Southern Cup. Here are the latest figures given to me by George
Killgore.
Killgore 87 c.
Duane Delk 72 c.
Gary Volkenand 80 c.
All above in around the first ten days of July
Scotty Blair 101 c., in around June 23rd
Danny Smith how are you doing?
Borzy has blown out two big ones and is still working on a few more.
Wonder how Beth Rado and Bev Vycital are doing. How about Bell from
Kentucy?
Audie Starkey is hanging on by a thread with this diasterous heat, but
hanging in there.
How about Billy Ray Benton and Harry Hurley NC.
Barb Kincaid is the front runner at the moment with a pumpkin already
weighed. She is also a candidate for Rookie of the Year in the over 18
category.
Anyone out there who is in the race that I forgot please report.
Zoo Doo has three pumpkins, 103, 100, (June 21) and 66 ( recent bee
poll.) Patch is looking like a war zone though. Still growing well
though but with lots of trouble.
