Organic antifungals, pest control

I was browsing through an organic products book today and realized (this is
a bias) that I trust  chemical pesticides and fungicides but am suspicious
about the organic ones.  I am certain some of them will work, but the field
is crowded with concoctions that might be old wives tales.   I'd like some
expert recommendations before I plunk down cash.

Anybody out there have personal experience with organic anti-fungals?  How
do the best compare with  Daconil?

Anybody have experience with organic pest control ... specifically against
cucumber beetles.  I'll take a kill or discourage strategy.  How does its
effectiveness compare with Sevin?
