AAAGGGGGHHHHHH!!! The list is closing - streuth!! While I have not been contributing much this year I have been keeping an eye open on the list. I have enjoyed it greatly and so I thank all of you who have kept it going and contributed so we can all share in the excitement. As our season in New Zealand is all opposite to yours in the top half of the planet we are able to learn by your efforts. We have had a very wet winter so far but there are predictions for a good summer thanks to La Nina (El Nino is now finished with apparently). God bless you all and you will no doubt feel a shifting in the force in the first week of April when we finally beat the Australians and win the Aust-Zealand Pumpkin Challenge. We are starting to organise our competitions here and sponsors are all set and seeds gathered to distribute. We hope for 350 - 400 growers this coming summer. Have a 'Parky' day. John S.
