PS It was 103 yesterday and more of the same expected today. While wetting
down my plants with a sprinkler I nearly stepped on a garter snake who
seemed totally indifferent to me and was more interested in get cooled by
the spray of the rotating sprinkler. Nothing dull about growing pumpkins.
