Hi Dan,
I also have some ?*#$!&^% squirrels that are ravaging my pumpkin patch
this year. They just bite off the ends of a vine, or munch on the
flowers and I HAVE CAUGHT the DARLING varmints in the act. I am known
as the crazy woman who runs screaming in the yard in a nightshirt
because of these critters. Yesterday I ordered some electronic
ultrasonic gizmo my husband saw in a magazine that is supposed to keep
the critters OUT of your garden. We will see. In the meantime, I
have bought fox urine, squirrel and rodent repellent that I am
spraying on everything. I also have everything draped in those bird
nettings. I also have a small animal trap ready to go and relocate
any monster that I can find. I have declared WAR on these critters.
Wonder how much money I have spent just trying to grow some pumpkins.
At this point, it is just the principle of the fact, that I don't want
to be outsmarted by a VARMINT.
Will let you know how the electronic thing works, if we don't
electrocute ourselves first.
AnnaMarie
