Llpumpkin:
After the groundhogs got through eating my vines, all growth of the pumpkin
appears to have ceased. THis groundhog has wiped out my garden. I will
ultimately get him but it is now too late for this year. I am very fortunate
to have a second garden. For those who have considered using the plastic deer
fence for groundhog control, forget it. Groundhogs are not even slowed down by
deer fencing. They eat right through the plastic. It doesn't even slow them
down. They are also able to dig under buried wire if they really want into the
garden. I have developed a new respect for the groundhog and its determination
if it sees something it wants to eat.
