The Rain!

Group,
Glad some are getting some rain now. This is the
time of the season when it is really appreciated.
At my 4 plant patch the rain total for the month of
June was right at 7 inches. The ground in the patch
is very soaked, weeds were knee high, and due to
the fact that it was "too wet to plow" I managed to
take the weed eater in there (a scary thought) and
whack down all of them. It really looks good and
as soon as it's dry enough, I'll do some tilling then.
All 4 plants are incredibly huge and I have hand
pollinated pumpkins for 10 of the last 11 days, and
females are rampant. The only males to show up so
far are on the 682.4 Castellucci 96, but that's fine
with me, because I'm shooting for a new Alabama
state record. Everyone have a safe and happy 4th
and I'll update later.
