First Pollination

Pollinated my first pumpkin on July 1. The 740 Wray 98 was pollinated
with the 858 Baird 97. Plans are to pollinate the 854 Holland 98 on
Friday. The 854 Holland has been an average to slightly below average
plant for me this year, but it will be one of the first I pollinate.
We have had cool weather here the past few days and the pumpkin patch
received .75 to an inch of rain. Everything looks green and lush. In the
next few days, the temperature is supposed to reach the low 90s which
will be in my key pollination time.
