Well, here's the latest from Woodridge:
937 Mombert - This plant is looking great! The main is now at 20' with
about 15 secondaries up to 12 feet in length. I have set 11 pumpkins on
this plant, the largest is currently 40"c at 17 days.
Reynolds cull (parents 815 Anderson x 935 Lloyd) - Strong plant with
leaves approaching 2' across. 4 pumpkins are set with the best 2
measuring 18"c at 7 days.
729.16 Hackney - Plant equal to the Reynolds in size. Very thick vine. 2
fruits set at 2 and 3 days old. No measurements yet.
854 Holland - Coming along nicely with a 2 day old fruit.
936.5 Handy - Plant is a little smaller and just showing its first pea
sized pumpkin.
So far so good. Big heat coming though. What's up with you other
Illinois growers? Elkskin? Greg Schraiber? Mike Mott?
