Frankfort, IL Update,
Mombert #937, large plant with 20' main vine and three set pumpkins, nothing
to measure yet, this plant seems to be more heat tolerant then the others.
Wentzell #914, 25' main vine with 2' leaves, has 2 set pumpkins, nothing
measurable, doesn't like the heat.
Emmons #854, This plant has 2 main vines setting pumpkins on the same day at
exactly the same spot on the vine. Nothing measurable yet. has some of the
largest male flowers I've ever seen! Will literally choke a female with
pollen using only 1 flower.
Pacilli #1406 (UOW), Nothing to brag about.
Dill #881, Started later, Has 10' main vine with nice large leaves, no
females yet.
Rockwell #879, 12' main vine with no flowers at all yet but a nice looking
plant. (Elkskin)
