Shellie I'm still here. I'm so busy that I check my email every 7 to 10
days. I'm growing a Gretchen Schwartz 847( spelling and size questionable; I
misplaced the seed packet). My basketball sized pumpkin was pollinated 6/25.
The vine has split just in front of the pumpkin node. The vine is brittle
and possibly unburiable. The fruit continues to grow in spite of the
problem. The vegetative growth of this plant is remarkable. I doubled the
size of my garden and the plant already has occupied 80%.
