Who from the PNW sent the cold temps? last night it was 44 degrees, and
tonight
it is going to dip to 40.. Strange that last Monday and Tuesday we had
103/84
and 101/83 both days for day/night temps.. Today it was 78/44(last night),
and
tomorrow is projected to be 81/46.. Brrrrrrrr

LOL... Not Me!
But thanks Lyle for sharing your heat with PNW. Just started pollinating
here in past few days. ...got some catching up to do with you guys on the
east..... Out of the first 2 pollinated in the Pumpkin Prison only one has
stuck.
Lost the first pollinated pumpkin from 7/5 . this am it had lost it's gloss
and turned pale. sorry to say Al Eaton it was on the 664. but many girls on
that plant ready in next few days if the weather stays warm.
the one that has seemed to be a successful pollination is the 878.5 Green. a
big shinny GREEN fruit. something you can relate to Lyle.. and my Andersen
815 plant has green females also, but it did last year and they turned
yellow at baseball size.. I will be happy with any big fruit this year.
Green,Orange, Yellow or Purple. Just hope to beat my personal best this
year! couldn't get it done last year so giving it my best shot this time
around. Hope everyone else can beat their personal best too! Are we having
fun yet?
