Sorry to hear of your loss and thank you for sharing this with the rest of us
in hopes that we might learn from your misfortune. Do you still have another
pumpkin that you are able to continue the season with? We only have room for
the one and if something happens to ours we are done. Thanks again for the
tip.

I found my big one blown today. Final measurements 106.5-67-67=240.5.

Culled a 135lb pumpkin from this plant two days ago. Won't do that again in
one shot. What did I learn? I think other pumpkins should be culled over a
few days. Cut the stem a little each day, maybe over a 3 day period. This
will slowly shift the "juice" to your other pumpkins, hopefully saving you a
blossom end blow out like mine. This pumpkin was pol. on 6-10 and was from
my
480 est. ( 935 Lloyd x 600 Jones) plant.
