 Pumpkin Group,
Another Missouri grower informed of this group. I don't know if it's okay
for me to post questions to this group without joining some organization.
After my last post, I was sent a private e-mail that said this group was for
serious growers only and maybe I should try looking for information elsewhere
and then was kind enough to give me some sites. Well, I searched those sites
thoroughly, yet could not come up with answer to the following; I have a
pumpkin that is twelve days old on my only healthy plant. The problem is my
twelve day pumpkin is already showing ribs, and in my few past experience's
my pumpkins have been smooth for the the first thirty days or so, is this
ribbed plant going to be a problem? I apologize for my ignorance (I'm a
climatologist)and if I'm allowed, I will only post to this site if I can't
find the answer elsewhere as suggested. Thank-you for your help.

Never saw an AG get ribs that early. Is it an AG? What does the plant look
like, size, color etc? If the plant was severely stunted it may do that.
