shade structure

anybody out there have a good shade structure? i'm looking for some ideas
that are better than what i have. right now i have a sheet over 4 poles,
it's flimsy, and the rubber bands i use to hold the sheet on the pole keep
dry rotting in the heat and sun and breaking off. I did this last year,
but i wasn't happy with it then, and didn't give much thought to it for
this year.
