Oh for Pete's sake what maroon told you that? This group is for anyone who
has an interest. You have questions, ask. You have something to
contribute, do it. Some of the people here can get a little stuffed on
themselves sometimes. I don't have a good answer for your early ribbing
question. If it was in my patch I'd let it go and see what happens and keep
a backup going. If they get too deep they can be prone to split.
Especially if the plant later develops sag lines AKA "Dill Rings". Let us
know how things develop.
