Green leaves, yellow vines?

One of our pumpkins plants has green leaves, but all the vines are yellow.  None of our other plants are like this....is this unusual.  The pumpkins themselves are that yellow color small pumpkins start out as, just like any others.

Also, we have pumpkins setting with leaves underneath them....the pumpkins themselves are at a really good angle to the vine.  Should we just snap off the bottom leaf?
