You might try a frame work made out of electrical conduit similar to
those used at sway meets. The fittings are commercially available and you
can make the structure almost any size depending on your needs.
Also available are small bungie cords to attach tarps to the sturctures
which although subject to sun rot the should last more than a year. If
you can't find a source for the fittings or have addtional questions
