Yes that is a squash bug and those are its eggs.............attention Ca.
growers that is our version of the squash vine borer,,,,,,,,,theys suck
juices and blackin plant leaves.......dont think they bore but can make a
vine bulband severely sac a vine and weaken it........... you squash them
and them and they give of a perfume....................
