Shopped around a bit over the past few days for
a water soluble form of potash. Looked at Potassium Nitrate, but my soil is
almost excessive in Nitrogen so did not want to add any more nitrogen. Was able
to find water soluble sulfate of potash (46% K I believe), but am
wondering about the sulfur content in it.
Would the sulfur act as a beneficial fungicide
in the mix?
Would the sulfur content cause pH changes to the
soil?
Anyone using this form of potassium on their
AG's an if so any comments?
The product in question is
intended for commercial tomato growers I believe.
Can anyone recommend a high potassium water soluble fertilizer
containing no nitrogen?
