In 1993 Dan Smerek weighed as] siamese pumpkin in at Port Elgin at 700.5
pounds. The travel had caused the pumpkin to start to crack at the
weigh-off but it still passed. At the Sarnia weigh-off a rule states that
the blossom end and stem must each be on.
