This Is Fargin' War!

Yesterday afternoon I discovered that I have Squash Vine Borers
in all 4 of my plants. I have been on the lookout for these @#!*#
things since day 1 but I didn't get to go to the patch Sunday as
I normally do. Damn! "Abracadabra" was just starting to really shine
at 125 lbs. So, I pondered for quite some time and eventually went
home trying to accept the disappointment, but never did. I then
decided that "this is fargin' war", that I would not stand idlely by and
let these things defeat me with their evil plot! So, at 10:00 last night
I went to the patch with a feeble flashlight and connected up and
turned on the soaker hoses, letting them run all night. This morning
I sat at the patch and waited for the sun to give me enough light to
work by and when able, I began spraying all 4 plants with a mixture
of liquid Sevin and Malathion, about 2 gallons. I saw evidance of their
entry into the stems yesterday but never located the bastards during
any of the cuts I made. I have sprayed all plants on a 10 day schedule
since the start but I feel the amount of rain has made many of those
efforts in vain.
So, what else can I do at this point?
