Dang, dude! I don't even want to argue with you....I was just saying that
milk jugs CAN work in some situations too, and they work better for ME. I'm
sorry you don't feel that way, and maybe they DON'T work for YOU, fine! I'm
not trying to push it on anyone! Sheesh! Man oh man....I think someone has a
little too muich free time! Wow! Ha ha!

WHen I used milk cartons they did not compact the soil at all. I'm not
"lying", they just didn't! Beleive it or not!

Good, I'm glad you can afford them, and laid them down before planting. If I
could, I would do it too. But for those who do not have them laid down before
the plants are big, and who cannot afford them, milk jugs do work well, since
they did for me!

Uh, well, I'm not married! I am lucky that my only worry is to do whatever it
takes to get the big pumpkin. Including floating row cover, plastic tenting
in case of a frost, hot water jugs, rotating manure and compost piles,
whatever it takes. The pumpkins are the priority for me, and whatever THEY
like best is what thget, I don't care what it looks (or smells) like!
