Chris: You might want to try using mulch to help hold the moister in the soil
longer i.e. straw,salt marsh hay or grass clippings also if you have gutters on
your house you can collect the rain that falls from showers and store it in a 55
gal drum, you can get 55 or 30 gal drums from a local business that uses them it
cost them $$$ to get rid of them just make sure nothing toxic was stored in them
! they all should be labeled! i get mine from a company that makes floor care
products, i use the ones that had soap in them.
also if you are lucky enough to have a pond or stream on your property which
most people don't then you could put a sump/submersible pump in it and connect
it to your sprinkler!
or you could pray for rain!!!!!
