Because humor is not all ways understood by the reader, it can be
dangerous to use. I have also seen that people use humor (joking for
real) to protect them selves. No matter what you say, you can all ways
back up and say "I was just kidding." I have seen a number of people on
this list come and go. One observation=whenever someone posts a lot, is
overly vocal about one or two issues, or appears abrasive, he or she is
due to be stomped on by some one else who this behavior grates on. (even
though it was not intended to grate on them.) I enjoy your posts. You
answer questions that I have had. You add to the list. I'm just saying
when you since that you are touching a nerve (even a hypersensitive,
intolerant one) back off and give 'em a break. Go back to the archives
when you get a chance and look at all of the little wars of words that
have gone on. See how many of those people are still on the list.
Here's for a show of good will and back to pumpkins,

P.S. My Wibberg/Cone 673.5 is about the size of a basket ball at a week
and a half. Is that good? It seems like it is growing fast, but not as
fast as the Rockwell Squash!
