Hi Rocky Wayne and other Ciliberto growers
I am not growing a Ciliberto 697, but one of it's offspring, technically a
grandchild. It is the 859 1998 Dalton, grown from the 1997 743 Castellucci
which was a 697 Ciliberto X 567.5 Mombert cross. It's largest pumpkin was
pollinated on 6\19 and as of last night had a circumference of 102.5 inches.
This is the best start that I have ever had.
I have another 697 Ciliberto offspring plant growing also. The 720 Hester.
This seed is from a 697X 567.5 Mombert cross too. The pumpkin on this plant
was pollinated on 7\8 and has only reached 45 inches in circumference.
Nevertheless, I think that this pumpkin will go far.
