its called to ott method. {over the top} its and accumulative of three
measurements around the pumpkin to give you an estimated weight. i'd explain
it if i could but most of the web pages on growing giant pumpkins have
information on it. i've even seen a site the you can put your measurements
into and it will give you a weight. hopefully somebody elase can tell you how
to do it. good luck!!
