I think your right could be trouble. The one thing that I have found is
that AG seem to be able to change their feed. like when you cut a tap root
close to the pumpkin this seems to slow it a pace then it re-channels...or
a stumpless wonder re-channels....perhaps it may be true with the stem may
have to rechannel its feed .........No growth is the
