This is to let you know I am out of the sunflower contest. As I wrote,
one seed was broken and had no insides. Another was cracked and I
examine it under microscope--empty. Then I broke the others open and all
were empty.
Barb has offered seed which I might try next year, but I am not sure
they keep well.
Due to drought my garden is a failure unless rain comes in a day.
Pumpkins are dying bach from the tips.
I was very interested in how you were able to send seeds for about 11
cents per envelope as I recall. Since I like to send lots of such things
to kids for science projects, cheap postage would help.
